How to Make Sautéed Mushrooms with Spinach

  1. Start by washing your mushrooms and slicing them evenly to ensure uniform cooking. Clean and rinse the spinach, mince the garlic, and squeeze the lemon for its juice.
  2. In a large skillet, pour in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, heating it over medium heat until it shimmers.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms in a single layer. Let them cook undisturbed for about 3-4 minutes until they reach a beautiful golden-brown color.
  4. Gently stir the mushrooms occasionally, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes until they soften and deepen in color.
  5. Once the mushrooms are sautéed, add your minced garlic. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Gradually add the spinach in batches, tossing gently to wilt it. Cook for 2-3 more minutes until the spinach is vibrant green and tender.
  7. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste, then pour in the lemon juice for a zesty finish. Mix well and serve hot!
