Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt, then mix well.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Shape the dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough, divide it, and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F to 500°F and roll out the dough to desired thickness.
- Transfer to a pizza peel, add toppings, and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
