About the event
Join us as homestead moms, Jasey Hughes (an LFA member) and Kelly Johnson, share foundations of food preservation through canning, dehydrating, and freezing methods that they have found beneficial over the years. They will go through basic equipment needs, safety tips, and actual food examples. Come join us in Seymour for a fun afternoon!
Registration is required - limited seating available - RSVP to save your seat. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 per person.
About the instructors:
Jasey, having spent majority of her childhood on a ranch, comes from a very outdoors background where gardening and food saving was a large part of life.
